Danusia formed the Hal Company in Camden in the 1990’s while working in TV and missing live theatre. It was a weekly workshop at the hall of a Church in Camden called Our Lady of Hal (hence the name). All comers were welcome and Danusia taught acting. HAL devised and improvised theatre and eventually staged some new writing by local playwrights, some devised work and full productions of Murder in the Cathedral, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Rough Cut, a devised piece which was staged at The Riverside Studio’s in Hammersmith. HAL will come together again to create Headlands in Sept 2010.
